The Golden Gate National Park

The Golden Gate National Park is fairly barren, but it was so vast and so
beautiful that we couldn't believe it.

Mountain streams and green grasses supported wild herds of mountain zebra, deer,
and wildebeest.

They had set up a vulture hide to attract and encourage the increase in the vulture
population.  However, their bait was a few weeks old and had been
picked over pretty clean. We never did see a vulture.

The cold winds were blowing so we had to bundle up to keep
warm.  Chuck ended up looking like a major league baseball umpire.

Beautiful scenery everywhere we looked.
